Adam Gum - CAMP DIRECTOR
Whitetail is pleased to welcome Adam Gum as Director of Camps.
“I am from Maryland originally, having lived in various parts of the state. After graduating high school from Calvert Hall in Towson, MD, I attended High Point University in North Carolina. Having learned to ski at the age of 4, I’ve had a passion for sports and the outdoors ever since. I’ve been with Snow Time Resorts since 2009 as a volunteer Ski Patroller, and I maintain my patroller status as a first responder, which allows me to continue assisting our guests in their time of need. I was fortunate to be offered the position Director of Safety and Risk Management this past season at Whitetail and it has been a great experience. I’m looking forward to the summer programs and making a positive impact by creating a great experience for the campers.” -Adam Gum
Korey Walker - Asst. Camp Director
We are excited to have Korey Walker as our Assistant Camp Director this season. A Whitetail Resort employee for 10+ years, Korey grew up in Washington County, MD and currently is a Mercersburg resident. He’s familiar with this surrounding area and very much enjoys outdoor activities during the summer months such as, fishing, kayaking, swimming, camping, etc. He also enjoys climbing and working the rock wall events for Whitetail Resort. Outside of Whitetail, he loves hanging out with his nieces and nephews that constantly keep him entertained with sports activities and other outside events as well. Korey has had many leadership roles in athletics, along with proper training in First Aid and CPR.
TANGELA GIBBONS - CAMP ADMINISTRATOR
Tangela has been a member of the Whitetail team since 2002. She worked seasonally for 4 years as a Tubing cashier. In 2006, Tangela was promoted to Assistant Ticket Manager. In 2010, when Whitetail Adventure Camp was started, Tangela was asked to assist with the paperwork and other administrative duties ~ she hasn’t stopped since!
Tangela loves working with the campers and parents. She has a great passion for archery, camping, our natural world and seeing the amazement in the eyes of our campers when they get a bulls-eye in archery, catch a fish, or zipline for the 1 time ~ all proof positive of what Whitetail Adventure Camp is all about!
